不能算一部正统的zorro电影，充其量是部后传。

电影很像《蝙蝠侠》+《蜘蛛侠》+《间谍小子》+《超人总动员》混合版，减弱了动作戏，加重了情感戏和娱乐效果，除了几个动作戏还算好看以外没有什么出彩的地方了。

Antonio Banderas还算风采依旧，Catherine Zeta-Jones徐娘半老，风韵犹存，跟女主角的年龄相符。

电影的失败是因为不够传统，太现代了，想在zorro的传统故事上挖掘些新意是不讨好的又是无奈的，观众只想看帅zorro简单的惩恶扬善，对他的私人和生活方面并无多大兴趣，所以老版的zorro是难以逾越的，zorro系列应该终结了。

看的内地阉割版，据说比香港上映版少了15分钟，感觉确实欠点什么。香港黑帮电影已经从当初蛊惑仔打打杀杀阶段进入到剖析内部组织和以帮派斗争为主的新阶段，杜琪峰拍这类电影的确有一套，把帮派复杂的关系和众多人物的刻画得非常到位。梁家辉和任达华两位演技派表演游刃有余，特别是梁家辉，这家伙太能演戏了，好人，坏人，文艺片，爱情片，悲剧，喜剧，都手到擒来，强！古天乐和张家辉的表演看来要等到下集才能得以释放了。顺便说一下，罗大佑的配乐不错，古典，张弛有力。

下集应该是无间道模式了。
